Custom websites and visual direction for independent hospitality · US / AU

Make the first visit easier to choose.

I design and build custom websites for independent restaurants, cafes, and bars. Your menu, place, and next step should feel unmistakably yours and easy to find.

Designed around your placeNo off-the-shelf layout: the visual direction, content hierarchy, and interactions are shaped around your business.

The studio point of view

A restaurant website is part of the welcome.

Before someone walks through the door, they are already deciding if the place feels right. The work is to make that decision clear, useful, and unmistakably yours.

What I help withOne custom website, four practical jobs

Make your restaurant easy to choose.

The work starts with your food, place, audience, and customer journey. I shape a custom system around those details, rather than fitting your business into a generic template.

Brand

Give the restaurant a clear identity.

Logo direction, colour, type, and a visual tone that feels specific to your business.

Menu

Make the food easy to find.

A readable menu experience designed for quick scanning on a phone, not a buried PDF.

Visit

Help customers make a plan.

Hours, location, directions, reservations, and ordering placed where people need them.

Launch

Get the site working properly.

Responsive custom build, deployment, testing, handover, and optional ongoing care.

Ways to work togetherUSD · current studio rates

Choose the setup that fits your business.

Each plan is built around your restaurant, not a preset theme. Choose a one-time build when you want to own the website. Choose monthly support when you want the custom build, hosting, maintenance, and defined updates handled together.

How the work works

Professional does not have to mean complicated.

You work directly with the person designing and building the site. I keep the scope visible, use the materials you already have where possible, and explain what is ready before launch.

About the work shown above: these are independent concept studies created from publicly available information, not commissioned client projects. They demonstrate my design and implementation approach.
BriefWe clarify the food, audience, location, and most important customer action.
BuildYou review the direction and the site in progress before final polish.
LaunchI deploy, test key links, and give you a clear handover.
CareStay independent, or keep me available for defined monthly updates.
Questions before we startClear terms, no sales script
Do I need to provide all the content?
You provide the business facts, menu, contact details, images, and any existing brand materials you want to keep. I help shape the hierarchy, page copy, and presentation so the information is easier to use.
Who owns the website after launch?
With a one-time build, the finished website belongs to you after the final payment. Domain, third-party subscriptions, and any separately licensed assets remain subject to their own terms.
What is included in the monthly plan?
The monthly plans combine the initial build with hosting, technical maintenance, defined content updates, and ongoing support. A 12-month minimum applies, with renewal and handover terms agreed before payment.
How long does a project take?
A focused one-page site can usually move from approved brief to launch in two to four weeks. Larger sites, new brand direction, delayed content, and third-party integrations can extend that timeline.
Are photography and online ordering included?
Photography, advertising, custom POS development, and paid third-party platforms are separate. I can connect the tools you already use and make the next step clear on the site.
